How should a word move to serve its meaning?
The Non-Survival Kit is a project I worked on in late 2023 with Serious Play studio, where my part was the motion design. Every scene carried a different meaning, and the challenge was to translate each one into the right, strong motion.
Motion is not just text that moves. It is how it moves to serve the meaning and carry it further.

Before settling on the opener, I tried several ways of moving the type on white: in timing, in how the words appear, and in the cut to black. These are some of the experiments.
